If for some reason you can not attend you need to make arrangements with your committee to have someone assist the workshop.  Also if the date for your workshop is not acceptable for some reason, notify the WAM office as quickly as possible so other arrangements can be made:

1.  Chairperson (or their emissary on the committee) is responsible for making arrangements with the speaker.

2.  Chairperson is responsible to find out speaker needs for instance if an overhead projector or flip chart is needed.  At this time we request if a laptop or projector is needed that the speaker bring their own.   WAM office should be advised of anything needed to prepare the room.

3.  Chairperson should plan to be at the meeting by 5:30 to greet their speaker and guide them to their speaking space.

4.  Chairperson picks up their meal ticket and their speakers meal ticket (ISM buys the speaker dinner) .

5. Chairperson for the committee should plan on eating dinner with their speaker (well unless the speaker can't stay for dinner), WAM office needs to know that.

6.  Chairperson presents a short 1-2 minute summary of the workshop at that nights dinner meeting and presents Certificate of Thank you to their Speaker.
